have two new board members who have joined the board effective this month, Bryan Haver from Prudential and Joe Sprague from the Southwest LGBT Film Society. We appreciate their willingness to serve our chamber and look forward to working with them. Thomas Sayler-Brown has decided to step down from the board to focus on other things and we thank him for his service in the past year.
We had a wonderful mixer last week at Whitespace Designs. Chad did a great job hosting this fun event!
We do not yet have a mixer scheduled for February. If you have been thinking of hosting one this could be your opportunity! Please contact us at info@tucsonglbtchamber.org if you want to sign up. It is a great chance to highlight your business to the rest of the chamber members.
Our advocacy committee is at work looking at some of the important issues on the horizon for the business and GLBT communities. We will keep you posted on those things as time progresses.
